Constant cough and mum won't take to GP

DSD has had a constant cough now most of the year. Did seem to go over the month of June but come back again.

We only have DSD on weekends so can't get her to a GP. Mum refuses to let us have her in the week and also to take her to the GP stating she is fine.

I have a feeling DSD has Asthma, cough worse at night and after exercise.

What's the answer?

Pay for a weekend private GP appointment?

Your DP goes to court for more access. Why is he accepting weekends only?
Letting this go on for a year is ridiculous, I don't understand why your DP hasn't stepped in and insisted on a visit to the Dr, he is her parent and his child is sick.
Don't hand her back on a Sunday, take her to Dr on Monday. If access isn't court ordered there is nothing to stop him keeping her at his longer to accommodate an appointment. Your DP can't be overly worried since he's done absolutely nothing about this.

Either of the above options are good. Our local walk in clinic is open weekends too.

There are ways that this can have been addressed without the poor kid coughing for months on end with nobody doing anything.
