DD 7 months old has a hard lump in the middle of her top lip, where her cupids bow is.
It started a couple of days ago right after I put some cream on the GP had prescribed to treat some kind of skin rash on her cheeks and chin. Initially I thought she was having a reaction to the cream so took her back to the GP who looked at the lump and said he doesn't think it's a reaction but looks like a bruise, like she's banged her mouth.
She's not fallen and I've not heard her cry like she hurt herself before the lump was there but presently she's very grizzly and unsettled and it seems to be causing her pain. Doesn't want her bottle or dummy.
The lump is hard to the touch.
Google said sucking blister.
Anyone else got any ideas?
