Hello looking for some advice/help anything really mostly just feed back hoping someone else has had this done even better if it’s a child!
our 5 month old baby will be having ptosis surgery (upper eye lid) he has a drooping eye lid one side. Possible excessive skiN on the other side so may need lifting in the future.
Op will be at great almond street eye unit.
I have all trust as I know this is great hospital. Just looking for a parent that can talk me through it a bit more… ie what was recovery like etc was your baby in pain, what does the end result look like im just a very panicked parent. Ive been told he may never close his eye again and if he does it will never be completely. Im having all sorts off thoughts off him being bullied in school for not “ looking the same as everyone else.” I hope for his sake it’s not to noticeable as I’ve told it will scar the eye lid.
i will love my child Unconditionally no matter what may I add but other kids can be very cruel and this worries me.
Thanks in advance xx
