Is this blister in babys tongue? (Pic)

Hi Mumsnetters,I'm a bit worried about a spot I've noticed on my baby’s tongue. It's a quite big, blister-like bump on top. Picture below.Has anyone else seen something like this before? He seems to be in pain and refusescto eat We have a doctors appointment later today. Any advice or similar experiences would be greatly appreciated!Thanks in advance!Ari

Hi OP, hopefully you have seen the doc and they’ve given you a diagnosis. It looks like a sucking blister? But I’m not medical

Not a medical professional, but my daughter has something called geographic tongue. Harmless and doesn't cause any issues.
It looks very similar!
