Viral infection recovery in 1yo

Hello!

I have a one year old DD and last week we were told by the GP that she had a viral infection (no fever, lethargic and listless, no diarrhoea, ears clear, decreased appetite and just the back of her a throat was sore).

she seems to have her appetite back (mostly), her sleep is all over the place following the last few days and I’m trying to get her back into her routine but this will take time.

But I’m wondering what others experiences have been of their little ones recovering? My DD is stuck to me like glue, she looses it even if I put her on the floor so I can do something, she’s super moany and isn’t at all interested in her toys or doing anything. But she seems ‘fine’, no signs of illness (aside from a slight cough).

I don’t feel I can take her back to the GP and just say ‘she’s not herself’ as that’s not helpful. But she’s not.

I’m exhausted and have a 7yo too. ARGH

TIA 😊
