Any tips please for awful dandruff that's appeared out of nowhere on my 9 year old.
We've tried e45, nizoral? And head and shoulders and it's not budging. She's getting super embarrassed.

I saw a thing on instagram where a dermatologist recommended apple cider vinegar might be worth a try.

@branvan5000 did you find a solution in the end?

So last night I used head and shoulders. I left it on her for 10 mins before washing it out. Then I dried her hair and scalp fully as quite often she lets her hair air dry. I used a nit comb to scrape off some of it close to her scalp and it looks 80% better but still not amazing. I'll read through the recommendations as I suffer myself with a flaky/scabby scalp.

When she usually lets her hair air dry is it fully dry before bed? My DD started getting dandruff quite bad and I linked it to when she started going to bed with wet/damp hair. I now use a hair dryer to fully dry the roots and it’s been fine since

My daughter gets this, seems to get better then comes back. Check the age some products are for 12 and over I think x

I went like this at puberty and tbh no dandruff shampoos worked at all. Only bpdy shop ginger shampoo or baby shampoo dont irritate my scalp! Try less washing and being really gentle with it

Dermatologist told us to wash every day. It stops the scales building up
