Hi, I've noticed these bumps all over my baby. Does it look like heat rash to you, or something else? Thanks

Hiya, just checking if your little one’s rash ever went away? My son has the exact same thing he’s had it for months, he’s 6 months old now, no other symptoms. GP waves it off and said it’s heat rash, wondering if your baby’s one ever went??

I'm late coming back to this but appreciate all replies. The rash did go away after a few weeks - I think it's heat rash

ahh Thanks for coming back to me, glad to hear it cleared up, was there anything you did or used on it for it to go? I seem to have tried everything nothing works 😞

@AqsaM I used slightly cooler water during bath time, and avoided using any baby soaps, lotions or oils on my baby's skin. We were experiencing hot weather so I ensured my baby was dressed to stay cool overnight, as sweat only made it worse. That said, its disappearance coincided with the hot weather.

Is the rash in any particular areas on your baby? For my baby, it was on the sides of the face, back and back of the neck.

@Waterlogged yeah it’s literally on the side of his face and cheeks that’s all, now where else. I would say it’s been there for about nearly 3 months now and yeah it has been fairly warm as well so not sure if it will just improve once it starts to get cooler.

I’ve seen the gp twice about it only coz it’s been there for so long, it does look pretty much exactly like the picture you have of your baby’s one, gp says oh it will just go and that it’s heat related, I’m just concerned as it’s been so long😩

thanks for the tips I’m going to avoid any lotions on his face, gp actually prescribed some paraffin cream which is so thick and oily and said to try that but I’ve been quite reluctant to use it
