9yo DS has one toenail that looked fungal and the others all had white patches that looked more like they'd had something dropped on them, and also looks like a fungal nail on the other foot. Sent clippings away, confirmed fungal, GP said to try Amorolfine (Curanail etc) but did not prescribe it at the time and is now on holiday/ another appointment will take weeks.
Is it OK to buy over the counter for a 9yo (pharmacist says it's for over 18s only, and the instructions say only for if you have only one fungal nail!)
Also I've seen a couple of other threads and it doesn't look like success will be quick if ever. Costs £30 for a teeny bottle.
Basically just want to check it's ok for children and if there's anything else to know about it!
