My health anxiety is through the roof

DS has been poorly since Sunday last week, fatigue, loss of appetite, cough, chills, muscle aches.
Yesterday I made a doctors appointment as he didn't seem to be getting any better and the doctor listened to his chest and said he has a chest infection as it sounded crackly in his right lung. Gave him some antibiotics and didn't seem concerned.
I suffer with health anxiety and now I know he has a chest infection it's like I'm hyper aware of every little thing, I did a quick google and it came up with pneumonia Is this what a chest infection is?
I've heard all sorts of things about pneumonia so I'm really worried.
I keep checking his breaths per minute whilst hes sleeping and every time he coughs I'm checking him.

Would the cough still be present even if the antibiotics are starting to work?
I feel really anxious.

Forgot to add that today he's eaten a bit which he hasn't done for much of the week, and he has no fever.
It's just this cough, it sounds awful 😩

Don’t worry, my sons have both had this, the cough lasts for ages. Both went to the Doctor, one got antibiotics, the other didn’t. The cough will likely last a bit longer but the antibiotics will be working. Sounds like he’s on the mend.
