Blood + protein in urine but no infection?

Can anyone offer any insight?
took dd to gp with fever + low
abdominal pain. They dipped her urine and said there were traces of blood and protein and gave her 3 days of antibiotics. Told me to call for results today as they were sending them off for culture. Well the antibiotics seemed to work as she was fine within 2
days, but to my surprise the results have come back showing no infection. I’m just wondering what else could cause blood and protein in urine? Gp left
note saying no follow up needed unless symptoms persist 🤷‍♀️and I’m making myself
not google!

I would say kidney disease could cause those symptoms.

Is her urine a normal colour?

I would ask for a follow up test, but then I might be being too cautious since my DD has kidney problems.

Her urine is normally a normal colour. What other symptoms
of kidney disease would she be showing if that was
it?

My DD had black/ cola coloured urine and the back and abdominal pain but that was when she had gone into full blown kidney failure.
