My house was hit was a virus last Friday, DC1 first ( fever, sleepy, sick twice) then DC2 and DC3 on Monday/Tues ( without sickness) Wednesday recovered but still tired, DC3 developed cough. Cough continued, on Thursday her voice then became hoarse and cough worse. Today, she has fallen asleep 3x before lunch ( she is 17m and on one nap a day usually) then every 30 mins since! She wakes, only wants cuddles and breastfeeds then falls asleep again. She is snotty, struggles to breath when eating as bunged up. She isnt sucking in at ribs ( she is chunky so tricky to see with her rolls and wont let me lie her down without crying to check) but her breathing does seem slightly laboured. Im mostly concerned with her sleepiness, she has had a very slight fever at points but feels warm, not hot. My DH says she is just tired as unwell but its unlike her to sleep so much. Im now mulling over a&e but DH thinks im over-reacting. She has bronchiolitis before when she was tiny baby and admitted for 3 days so i think im just overly anxious?!?

I would call 111 just to be on the safe side. I took DS to the GP today as he had a temperature and although I couldn’t put my finger on why he seemed different to when he’s usually poorly, turns out he has tonsillitis and is now on antibiotics (he’s 11 months), trust your gut. Hope she picks up soon!
