DS UTI symptoms but no infection?

I took DS(3) to the doctor yesterday because he said it hurts when he wees. Doctor dipped his urine and said no evidence of infection, but she'd send it off to the lab just in case.
Yesterday morning that seemed to be his only symptom but then he spent most of the afternoon running to the toilet, and he's wet the bed which he NEVER does.
As it's the weekend we won't get the results from the lab until Monday at the earliest. Do dip tests often miss infections? Would we be best getting him to the OOH doctor to be tested again? I'm just wary if it's not being picked up when dipped then the OOH doctor will have the same issue.

Yes dip tests are very basic. I had one last week that didn't show anything but the lab found infection.

Yes, dips can and do miss it. I’d get onto the OOH if it were me.

Thanks both. I'm usually on top of things like this, but I have IBS they think was caused by repeat antibiotics courses and I think the chance it isn't a UTI was making me pause.
