Dd is 4 months next week. She has reflux so unsure if related but ..
The cough isn’t constant . It’s worse when she’s sleeping she’ll wake up and cough then go back to sleep again
this has been going on for a month now and the doctor just said her chest is clear
is this something I need to go back to gp for ? Or could it be reflux ? I’m seeing things on asthma or is she too young ?? Any advice is appreciated. I tried ringing gp this morning but couldn’t get through and have to try again Monday

Try to tilt the bed as reflux will be more common at night when laying down for longer periods. There are special wedges to get the right angle.

Your welcome.

Also obvs speak to your HCP but I ontrosuced some solids at 4.5 months old once DS was able to gold himself upright snd that helped massively with his silent reflux the more food he had the better it got.
It isn't a cure for every one though. My BF had 4 kids with silent reflux until they were well over 12 months old.

Asthma wouldn't be an issue at this age. A Cmpa would be at this age though.

Try make some adjustments at home. Adjusting the bed, keeping uproght for feeds and after feeds. Burping well..and if no improvement no harm going back to the Drs or speaking to HV.

All the best.
