Teen boy- low level echoes in bladder

My son had 2 UTI's last year and so was referred for an ultrasound as they are uncommon males

Today he had the US and his kidneys were fine but they noted lots of low level echoes and also his bladder didn't fully empty after he went to the toilet

His last urine sample came back negative for infection

Does anyone know what this means in basic terms?!

I asked the radiologist if it's anything sinister and they said no, but we didn't come away with any explanation

He is 16

Not sure but my 16 year old has been diagnosed with an overactive bladder. We have an appointment on the 22nd with a urologist.

Have you been back to see your GP ?

We will have to wait 10 days for GP to read the report but I'm not sure what the next stages would be
