Looking for advice on omeprazole for my baby
He was diagnosed with silent reflux as he was fussy on his feeds arching back crying etc
We had already moved onto comfort milk on advice of HV
Prescribed gaviscon - we had to switch back to normal milk to use it - it didnt agree with bub so we saw an out of hours GP over xmas who prescribed omeprazole.
not only is it a nightmare to give, he always naps after his dose and wakes up SO UPSET. its a daily occurance of medicine, nap, wake up, melt down, feed, then back to sleep after half an hour as he's worn himself out.
does it sound like a reaction to the omeprazole?
