Any ideas what on earth this is on my dd’s foot

Yesterday dd was complained briefly that her foot hurt when walking.

Just now she has come and shown me her foot, it’s got strange red patches mainly on the pads of her toes. Apparently very sore to touch and stung a lot in the shower, not raised or swollen. To me they look almost like a burn but she promises me she hasn’t done anything daft like stuck her foot on the radiator pipes.
No sign of it anywhere else on her, just the one foot.

Chilblains?

Haggisfish3 · 21/12/2023 20:19

She hasn’t had Covid has she? There was a weird toe skin thing with that.

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 21/12/2023 20:33

Covid toes?

DelphiniumBlue · 21/12/2023 20:34

Hand foot and mouth? Check her fingers and mouth.

autienotnaughty · 21/12/2023 20:42

It looks like chilblains

Mumaway · 21/12/2023 20:42

Probably chilblains, might be COVID toes

TomeTome · 21/12/2023 20:44

I think her feet have got too cold and she’s got chilblains where they touch the floor.

Moraldilemma84 · 21/12/2023 20:46

She has been run down and not really herself for the last month, not ill enough to miss school just like the end of a cold that she couldn’t shift. She has been much better the last week though.

Definitely no marks anywhere else.
