Will I get a call if the heal prick test picks up abnormality?

I asked for the test results of the heal prick test to be sent to my home address but I'm in a different location. Will they call?

Baby is 16 days old. Tests done at 5 days I think.

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I was told I would be contacted if there was an issue

I don't believe that normal results from the day 5 heel prick tests are typically sent to parents. The time scales on which abnormal results need to be dealt with vary depending on which condition is suspected, and I understand that there are fairly robust measures in place to track down babies with potentially serious conditions so that confirmatory testing can be done and management instituted.

You'll be contacted by phone too I should think. I was.

im sure they would phone if anything came back abnormal, usually if it’s all clear you just get a letter through the post telling you what was tested and that it all came back negative.
