What to wear to bed with a fever

My DD (9 weeks) had her first jabs today and she is running a bit of a fever. She’s taking calpol but I’m wondering what she should wear to bed tonight?

Our room stays pretty warm, around 19 degrees. We have been dressing her in a long sleeve vest and 2.5tog sleep suit, but I’ve read they should wear lightweight clothing when they have a fever.

Should I put her in a 1 tog instead tonight or dress her as usual? She has been extra sleepy today so im worried she won’t wake us she’s too hot/too cold.

TIA x

If in doubt err on the side of her being ever so slightly cooler over warmer. She will wake and cry if she is too cold, over heating is far more dangerous for newborns. But trust your instincts and do what you feel is right. Hope she's better soon. My toddler currently has a fever. Awful isn't it x
