Teething / viral rash or scarlet fever?!

There was a confirmed case of scarlet fever in nursery on 16th October.
DS (10 months) currently looks like this.
He has a very slightly raised temp, no swollen glands, tongue normal colour as far as I can see. Eating and drinking fine, wet and dirty nappies as normal.

He is second child so I'm putting this down to teething and viral rash... but am I being too casual about it?! Would you see a doc for this?

(Swollen tum is just photo angle / fact that he'd just eaten his dinner!)

Oh, and rash blanches under glass or pressing with fingers.

I think I would want that checked op. I'm a mum of six and pretty blasé about most childhood illnesses but I would definitely want that checked!

Hmm. Yes - I guess that's what I'm thinking (otherwise why would I ask I suppose!)

I'll call the doctor first thing. I'm monitoring him and his temp overnight so will obviously get down to the hospital pronto if anything changes. He's had the rash for 36 hours and it hasn't got crazily worse (just spread slightly).
