8 day old was born with it, health visitor wasn't too sure herself and just said to keep an eye incase it gets any bigger then go to the gp...

I'm not sure tbh, but I would have it checked by a gp rather than just wait to see if it gets bigger. My DS had a strawberry mark and I used to take pictures of it with a coin next to it so I could use it for reference to see how the size had changed

That's an easy dr trip surely, why on earth would you wait?!

Looks like a skin tag - have seen similar on a baby in exactly the same place. Totally harmless but you can choose have it surgically removed later on when the child is bigger. Definitely talk to your GP if you’re worried.
