My 14 month old may have a shallow hip. He has been assessed by a special paeds physio and has an orthopaedic referral in Sept. He was an early baby and is a late developer. We were so happy to see him crawl and stand finally at a year but it has shown us he might have a problem.
he was assessed at birth (twice) and passed. No excessive car seat use, hip safe sling etc.
Has anyone got any experience of a hip correction in this age range?! I googled and the harness looks difficult to manage for an active baby. What do you do?!! All advice and help and realism very welcome.
He has some other issues, low weight gain/dropping centiles, limited growth (height), terrible sleep, constipation, some back arching etc. so there may be other issues as well.
