Hello everyone,

Just wanted to advise and to see if anyone has had this with their child?

My daughter, who is currently 9weeks, developed a rash and spots around 2nd july, wasn't sure what it was and she was well in herself so kept an eye, it then began to develope over the next month into an angry rash with sores on her back(worst area) chest, arms, hands and scalp, I've been back and forth to doctors and then eventually to hospital where I saw paediatrics! After trying many different creams, epimax, hydrocortisone, aveeno, the rash and sores were still present, after seeing my doctor Atleast 6 times I pushed it might be a cows milk allergy so was prescribed aptamil pepti 1, which tomorrow she will be on for two weeks, with this she also suffers with bad constipation and sick which is watery.

After visiting my doctor on Monday again, we were sent to paediatrics, where the doctor there said it was cows milk allergy and enzema!

I have attached pictures just want to see if anyone else thinks it may be?

What confuses me in the sores on her, which she has on her hands and scalp too, she is well in herself kand no temperature the whole time she's had them!

I just wanted to see, as I feel like the aptamil would have kicked in my now? I'm using cetrabann to Leroy hydrated and also bathing in oiliton

My son had a rash like in the 3rd picture (her back) and it turned out to be a dairy allergy. Because of covid and not being able to get a hospo appt we didn’t work this out til 11 months and were advised to cut dairy out entirely and it cleared up (coincided with him giving up formula too). He didn’t have the sores though, but it can manifest in different ways.

you could try changing formula - are you breast feeding too? Try cutting dairy out of your diet but takes about 3 weeks for it to come out of your system

Thankyou for your response! We're still on formula as only 9weeks, but only been on the new one 2 weeks, so I guess preserver! Not breastfeeding only formula, more reassuring that it's similar to your sons symptoms!
