Baby is just over 2 weeks old and on a few occasions has had a twitchy leg - kind of like when you have a loose nerve and your limb/finger spasms uncontrollably.
Today when he was drifting off to sleep this happened to all of his limbs together. Twitching and jerking for maybe 30 seconds. He was resting peacefully at the time. It happened again maybe 10 minutes later but only with one hand and one foot, and only for a few seconds.
He's a very wriggly baby so his arms and legs are often moving about, but this was different. It was very much involuntary spasming type twitches.
Google has put the fear of god in me and now I'm worried he's had a neonatal seizure.
I plan on speaking to the GP in the morning, but if anyone has any experience of this, I'd be grateful to hear your comments in the meantime.
