Help - my son can hear his own eyes moving

DS9 had a virus and ear infection over half term and ended up with a perforated ear which he’s had antibiotics for. Went back to the drs Thursday as his hearing is now super sensitive to the point he can hear his own eyes moving. Drs send us to hospital for full checks and they’ve diagnosed post vial fatigue and Autophony. Has anyone got any experience of this and how long did it take to resolve? He’s got a ENT appointment but it’s not until the 26th and he’s stuck in a silent state not even being able to talk or laugh and is obviously feeling very down about it.

I have no advice or recommendations but just wanted to bump for you.

My DC had a ruptured ear drum in mid May and is so much better now, hopefully in another wk or two he’ll be more comfortable if it’s healing.

i hope it gets better soon, sounds totally miserable.

Thank you I’m glad your DC recovered well. DS has taken to not even opening his eyes today as he says they’re too noisy!
