I keep reading conflicting information as to what counts as a fever in a 2 year old! 37.5, 37.8 or 38?? Just wondering what everyone's views are?

I think the NHS say over 38. The actual number doesn't really matter though - a temp lower than that can make children feel lousy whereas some are bouncing about and feeling OK with a temp over 38. I always tend to treat the symptoms, not the number.
