Is this the start of chicken pox?

Never dealt with chicken pox but 3 year old has these ??

Looks like it could be. It’s an unusual places for them to start. Are they’re anywhere else?

It could be, or it could be something has a taste for him and had a nibble! Just keep an eye on it and see. My daughter's first chicken pox spot was on her neck.

They usually start on the torso. Is it hand foot and mouth?

I don't think it's hand foot and mouth, as it's on one of the cheeks

I’ve only ever seen chickenpox start on the tummy/back
