Hi,
Just that really. When to start being worried. He has also only lost a few baby teeth and still some night time wetting. (Could be controlled with tablets but he hates them )

I did ask last year, when we were at the clinic about bedwetting whether there might be a link but told not likely.

But when I think about what his brother was like at this age they could not be more different. He is still very young looking and no signs of change at all. Would be grateful for any advice as to what I can do for him and if it could be more serious that I realise.

Could you link to this papers or suggest what to Google re the patch. Found out yesterday my son was flagged as "urgent" for endocrinology appointment so am worrying now.

BabyST · 25/02/2023 10:38

@hopeishere did you get the results of the bone density test? The bloods will look at the FSH and LSH they are the main ones around puberty I am led to believe.

When the wrist X-ray was done it was fine showed potential for growth. The growth hormone test was just outside of the normal range.

Oh they did an X-ray of the wrist. They did my DS hip and femur and said it was also out of range. I hope the urgent review goes well. Was this sent after the abnormal blood results?

hopeishere · 25/02/2023 14:23

Yes. We had gone privately for initial assessment but have to go back into NHS now. I think it's flagged as urgent because of his age - 15.

Remmy123 · 25/02/2023 15:05

What was showing abnormal on his bloods for it to be urgent? It will say it on there if you have a copy

hopeishere · 25/02/2023 15:18

It's his age not the bloods that I think is making it urgent. Bloods were normal apart from one that was just below range.
