Ear infection no antibiotics prescribed

Hi my one year old has been to the drs and diagnosed with an ear infection she said antibiotics weren’t needed it would go away on its own .

It’s left me feeling anxious it may get worse if untreated.I have older children who were always given antibiotics for ear infections.

just wanted some words of reassurance from parents of children who fought off the infection without antibiotics

They don't anymore, all my dc (12, 11, 10, 7 & 5) suffer ear infections (I do too). I do call the GP to let them know, as they said to, but I can't remember the last time any of us was prescribed abs. They normally clear up on their own in 7-10 days.
