is this typical of a teething baby?

Is it normal for babies to sleep more often (or for longer) whilst teething?

She isn’t as hungry as she was either. She drinks milk less often. Still getting enough but there’s a big gap in between feeds (usually 4 hours, but now about 5 hours)

she’s spitting up as well. She hasn’t spat up for a good month now and it’s began again around the same time she started showing teething symptoms. I tried googling it but it says spitting up and teething aren’t connected

Interested in this. My 7 month old has been sleeping loads and eating less with crying. I assume it's teething. No spit up though

@RubyRoss can you see or feel any teeth? I can see her bottom tooth poking through and it feels small and sharp

she was on stage 1 formula, switched her to stage 2, finished that box off and switched back to stage 1 again because she was constipated I’m not sure if that would cause spit up

I haven't rubbed a finger on ger gums (will try that later) but I can't see any teeth. I had a good opportunity to look because she screamed before bed last night (normally doesn't cry much). I had to give her calpol . I hope it's not like this for every tooth!

"teething" is an old wives tale

What age? If the tooth is already through, they are usually less bothered, but the neighbouring ones might be on their way.
A change from 4 to 5 hour gaps between meals doesn’t sound very significant. I wouldn’t worry much if she seems fine in herself.
