My 4 year old had the flu two weeks ago and has had tummy pain every day since. Comes and goes and I think a mild bc he is still very active. Has blood work which was normal but stool tested for blood. Now being referred to a pediatric GI dr but that is 3 weeks away! He was on mirilax daily, I stopped that to see if it was causing cramps but not much change. He is pretty gassy. Could a lactose intolerance cause the bloody stool? Anyone experienced anything like this? I am very worried and could use some help!
