Glandular fever in young children. Please help?

My 4 year old son had glandular fever in January, confirmed by a blood test. Since then, he's had flare ups and his immunity is poor. He's also being assessed for adhd and burns himself out very quickly. Consequently, he gets run down and ill. I think these are glandular fever relapses?

Anyone else had a young child with glandular fever? Do the relapses last months to years?

It's such a horrible illness 🤒

Also interested to hear any adulg experiences of glandular fever if you can relate. I'm at a loss to know what to do.
