Going to try and get an appointment with the doctors Monday but would just like to know if anyones DC has had PICA and their experience of it?
DS (age 2) is a very fussy eater I have been giving him iron drops in his drinks as I am worried in particular he hardly has any protein in his diet.
I recently bought some chalks for him to play with and I noticed he kept trying to lick them. Last night he tried to lick his older sisters bath bomb. Then today he was colouring in and he bit into a crayon.
Does this sound like it could be PICA? I know young children do like to put things in their mouth but when does it cross the line?

I don’t think Pica would be considered until he’s 3, sounds age appropriate to me.
