Op on June 10th - Risk going to London for Jubilee Weekend?

Hello,

My DS has Adenotonsillectomy on June 10th and a pre-covid test on the 7th.

I really want to go down to London on Thursday to Friday for Jubilee celebrations. We won’t be doing any street parties etc just maybe go to the palace, free museums and the London eye.
However am I being silly and should I keep him away? If he gets covid or poorly, his op will be postponed for I don’t know how long and I’ve been waiting for it for so long.

being inside the free museums would be a bigger risk than outside street parties I’d have thought.

That is a big risk, but so are a lot of things. Take him if you want to but be prepared that he might catch Covid and have his op postponed
