Is it OK to just feed sick 7 month old milk?

DD is 7 months old and has a cold, she is coughing, snotty and throwing up. She is clingy and off her food, I have been trying to feed her but she just isn't interested.

She normally has 3 meals, yoghurt and mashed banana for breakfast 1st thing, mashed veggies mixed with a bit of spag bol, curry, etc for lunch and dinner. She then has 3 bottles in-between the meals/before bed and occasionally a smaller one at night if she won't settle.

How terrible would it be to not bother with the food for a few days and just give her extra bottles to keep her calories and fluid up?

It would be fine and I did the same when mine were unwell. It's got plenty of calories and nutrition.

Hope they are on mend soon.

Thanks, I worry as she has only really started to be really interested in the food, she has only started to eat a substantial amount in the last few weeks, but I am sure we will get back there when she is better.

Fine!

Absolutely fine! Mine tolerated a bit of fruit yoghurt but that was it. For a few days he was just on milk.
