Travel sickness remedy for 3 year old

Hello, have been trying to get my hands on some travel sickness medication for my 3.5 year old for a long drive we have tomorrow. She has previous form for getting sick in the car and I have a vomit phobia and I'm driving so really don't want her to be sick as it makes me panic.

Can't find a brand in a pharmacy locally that is for a child under the age of 5 and now it's too late to order online.

My pharmacist said I could give her piriton but it's not licensed for travel sickness.... and I'm not sure what that means.

Please wise parents of Mumsnet any other options out there?

We are tiring her out in the morning and driving hopefully when she will sleep although she doesn't normally nap!

You can use piriton , its active ingredients has been tested for travel sickness.

In addition to that:
No screens, no books, no milk, no greasy-fatty food. Just some dry crackers and water as her meal before you leave.

Have a food container next to her so she can vomit in it and then you can put a lid until you can dispose of the box. A packet of wipes, extra change for both, and a towel to put underneath her if carseat get soiled.

Try to spend several hours at the pool, and if possible , leave from there for your trip.

I've got the travel sickness bands for wrists, you can buy them from supermarkets and chemists.
