8 week old born with dimple/scar where lower rib is?

My baby was born with what looks like a scar/dimple on his lower rib cage. It appears to be growing with him. No discolouration or anything else.

Silly me didn't think to mention at 8 week check up. Anyone any idea what this is.

It just feels like a dimple, soft and nothing else looks or feels abnormal.

Third nipple. My DH’s brother has one and so do most of the men in his family.

I just googled and it looks exactly like a third nipple. Thanks for that. How strange and apparently more common than I knew. Will run past GP next time anyway.
