Hi everyone! Hoping for some
reassurance from mums who have been in similar situation before. My little girl (17 months) was diagnosed with a uti at the a&e yesterday. She had high temps (39+) for a few days and smelly wee. She was prescribed antibiotics twice daily for 3 days. She's had her 2 doses already and is due her 3rd dose this evening. She still seems in pain and temp is close to 39. I was wondering how long does it typically take for the symptoms to improve after starting antibiotics. Poor thing has been so unwell for so many days and I just really want her to get better.

Is she prescribed pain killers too

@MayThePawsBeWithYou they advised to keep giving her calpol for fever and pain which helps temporarily.
