Hi
Just after advice my Ds got up yesterday with a strange walk he seems to be walking on the outside of his foot/heel just on his right side, which is making his foot appear as if its bent inwards a bit.
He is in absolutely no pain and is just going about as usual walking playing ect it doesn't seem to be bothering him at all.
As anybody experienced anything like this before?
I am a worrier & seem to be worrying a lot about it as it it strange obviously will take him to Gp if it carries on but could this be just him deciding to walk this way!
He is 2 next month( feb) & has walked well for months

Is your floor clean? Especially if you have woodflooring. If yes, then keep an eye on them and ask a medical professional.

Hi
I do have mainly laminate flooring throughout the flat , he was at his dad's yesterday while I worked who's floor is probably not as clean as mine but I cannot seen any splinters in his foot or red marks. Its just a bit baffling!

I only mentioned becuase my dd and nephew are sensitive to dirt on the flow when they were between 16 months to about six years. They were much better on carpets not such much on hard flooring. constant tiptoed when not wearing socks. The feet were never flat on the ground/floor.

No it's not that he always walked fine but since yesterday he's walking strange & it's same either his shoes on aswell!

Anyone?
Feeling more worried now aswell as he has tested positive on a LF for covid so we can't really see a dr about it. Could maybe be due to covid! But apart from being snotty he doesn't really have any symptoms, it's just strange it is like he is limping slightly due to it .
He's just walking on the outside of his foot/heel but isn't in any pain and is still happy enough in his self.e

My son has been doing this a lot recently can't work out why but he's autistic, has been sick recently and did think that's maybe why.

Hiya do you have an update with what this was? My son is doing the same

Dinkydonut1 · 14/04/2022 21:59

@Loulee21 Hiya do you have an update on your lo? Mine has been doing this too.

Me2you · 25/04/2022 13:59

@Loulee21 he did it for about 3 days straight & then just stopped lol!
It was very bizarre, never found out why he was doing it but he's fine now.
