Does this look like the start of chicken pox?

Ds 11mo has a red spot with a whitish/yellowy centre on his hand. He has about 6 others over his arms that look the same. Just got him out of the bath and he has a few red areas, the same size a s the spot but without the middle bit over his legs.
He's also got a cold and is teething. I brough his temp down with calpol.
Any ideas?

Usually start on the back and chest but there's always kids that don't present typically so could well be.

My kids started with fluid filled blisters, not white headed. DS1's started with mouth and scalp, so definitely didn't follow the traditional route. I would plan on not going out tomorrow and see if there are more. There is nothing you can do now if it is except ease the symptoms. At least if it is then they are so young they won't remember.

Could it be hand foot and mouth? What are the spits like today?

Might be worth speaking to the GP to be sure of what it is, however, by the time you are able to call the GP you will likely know if its chicken pox because they will appear all over by the morning if it is.
