Bottle weaning but 1year old is sick

I’m just wondering what others have done. (Not looking for medical advice). We have just weaned our 1yo old off her last bottle last week, but today she had vomited in her bed this morning and is a bit unwell and not eating much. Hasn’t gotten sick a second time (yet anyway). I’m considering giving her a bottle, what would you do?

IF she's been sick, I wouldn't be giving milk at all. It's best to avoid dairy with vomitting bugs. Give plain water to keep her hydrated, and wait and see if she is sick again.

I know it's tempting to revert back to previous comforts, but it's not a good idea.

Agree that milk isn't great if she's sick. Get some water in a sippy cup to keep her hydrated

Ok thank you both ☺️

I was told guidance around milk had changed and to give milk, formula if they want it. If they are going to be sick, they are going to be sick.

I didn't wean completely from milk at one though, crikey mine us three and still had cup of milk.

I thought OP meant she had stopped using a bottle to give milk, not that she had stopped milk completely. I've never heard of anyone stopping giving milk at 12 months.

Ah sorry @Seeline my mistake. I've always still given it with sick though. Dr told me to but could be wrong.
