Good morning, my daughter is 6, almost 7, and has always been extremely tall for her age, she is 4ft 3 and always been a little chunky. She had bloods as a toddler to rule out thyroid disorders etc but I've noticed the last few months she comes home from school with smelly armpits (like Bo) and she has started getting darker hairs on her bits. Is this normal for her age? I always thought this occurred later on Hmm

That is early, I don't think it's typical to but it does happen. Someone I went to school with started her period when she was 8

Overweight children go through puberty early. Tall can be naturally tall and it can also mean over nourished.
Is chunky code for overweight?.

It is possible to have early "adrenarche" (hair growth, odour changes etc.) but not be going through full puberty (ie process leading to start of periods). If actually starting puberty this will usually have breast bud development as the first sign.
