Hi so my daughter has been consistently complaining about burning when she wees and she is going to the toilet constantly and she's definitely going every time. The school have also commented on how often she goes. I have taken her to the GP on 2 different occasions but they just say no infection there! I feel really sorry for her ive been putting sudo on her just incase it was just sore but hasn't helped. This has been going on for well over a month now. Any suggestions on what else I could try?

My 3yo had a similar issue. Sample was tested and there was no infection so they gave treatment based on symptoms. A few days of Trimethoprim antibiotics fixed the problem so it obviously was an infection that hadn’t shown up at the lab.

@PRabbit they haven't even offered to send it off just tested it there!

I would insist on the sample being sent off to check. Go to a different doctor if you have to. I’d also insist that they treat based on symptoms and see if antibiotics fixes it.
