5 year old with lots of symptoms

So my 5 year old has been having leg pain, stomach pain and diarrhoea for about 2 years now. The pain comes and goes but it usually is quite severe and he needs calpol and a hot water bottle. He’s had to take days off of school because of the pain. He has diarrhoea pretty much everyday he also comes home from school with some poo on his pants sometimes as he gets watery farts (sorry for the tmi) and it’s very embarrassing for him. He has to get 2 teeth taken out as the enamel has completely eroded I don’t understand how because he doesn't eat a lot of sugar and the dentist was really shocked at how quickly they had deteriorated during lockdown. He has clusters of small bruises on his lower back most of the time, he is quite clumsy but I think is quite a strange place to get them. The doctor doesn’t seem concerned and says his leg pain is just growing pains but I don’t believe it is as it is very severe and happens at different times of the day not just at night. The doctor eventually referred him to get bloods taken at the hospital and we are meeting with the paediatrician at the end of the month to go over the results but I am so worried that’s they are not going to find anything wrong or that it will be something serious. Has anyone had a child with similar symptoms and what diagnosis did they get?

What does his faeces smell like? What colour is it?
I kept a diary of symptoms and food to show peadiatrian. Also what interventions we'd tried, what did and didn't help. Have you given the gp a stool sample?
My dd has refractory coeliac disease and symptoms included - yellow, vinegar smelling stools ranging from water to constipation, issues with enamel on teeth, poor quality second teeth, mouth ulcers, pains in legs (thought to be derfered pain), hair loss, regularly picked up bugs, fatigue, nausea and vomiting, indigestion.
Best of luck with a diagnosis, what I can say in hindsight is trust your gut feeling and keep pushing if you're not happy.

Sometimes they smell very foul along with his gas but other times it’s not bad. I suspected coeliac as I heard that causes problems with enamel. His symptoms are not as severe as what you described but I suppose everyone is different. Thank you for replying :)

Regarding the stomach pain and diarrhoea; could he actually be constipated? Often children with chronic constipation have little accidents and "wet farts" and can seem to have diarrhoea when it's actually fluid leaking around an impaction (it can be quite a lot of watery poo!).

I have noticed that sometimes he switches from diarrhoea to constipation for a couple days here and there. I have never heard of that happening with constipation I will need to have a look into it. Thank you.

Did you figure anything out?
does he by chance have double jointed knees?
My toddler has knee and shin pain 2-3 times a week. I don’t think they’re growing pains. She sometimes gets stomach aches and constipation is something she has been experiencing lately. She has hypermobile knees and from what I’ve read that can cause pains. Some kids maybe even experience gastro issues with it too which is odd.
