Hi All,

Just curious if something similar happened to any of you.

My 8 month old son got chicken pox from he's sister when he was only 3 month old.

He was left with a quite big indented scar on hes nosebridge. ( right upper side of he's nose)

Does any of your little babies been left scars like this at such a young age?

If yes were they improving/going away after years?

Thank you!

My dds queen spot scarred above her eyebrow when she was a baby, she's aged 9 now it is still there, same size and indentation, but because her head is bigger now it's not as noticeable.

Not chicken pox scars but I can say a facial scar DS had at 3 months old is pretty much invisible now he is 10. I can only see it because I know its there and even then sometimes it takes a while for me to find it. Please don't spend any time worrying about this.

My ds had chicken pox at 16months old. Nursery said it’s the worst they had ever seen. He had a number that became scars. He’s now 4, they are very feint and I’m sure no one else would notice but I notice Sad

Slightly different but DS fell and banged his temple at age 1, resulting in a similar size cut and then a scar. Children's faces grow from the nose outward, they don't just get uniformly bigger, so you might find the scar is nearer his eyebrow as he ages.

DD had it really badly when she was 1. Inside her eyelids nostrils. Pretty much all joined up on face.

She's 11 now and lots are still visible when the light hits a certain way. She also has small patches where her hair doesn't grow.

She's still gorgeous Grin and it's only little scars. This is one on three bridge of nose. It will fade. I know it's upsetting when your perfect baby gets something like this but honestly it'll be fine.

My DD got it at 3, she still has a scar on her chin. She also gave me chicken pox at the same time, I have a scar on my forehead and I love it Grin everyone had chickenpox scars growing up and because I'd never had it I felt left out, finally got one though 😂
