Lumps on top of outer ears - 6 year old

NHS website and online 111 are not helping, so I thought I'd see if any of you have seen this before and can suggest what it might be please.

Both ears initially had a few white-ish lumps on the top of the ear lobe / cartilage 6 days ago and at the time an old thread here suggested tonsillitis, and he did have swollen but not infected tonsils, but they've gone down and now there's more like 20 lumps on each ear, and on the right ear they look blistered. DS is 6, has eczema on his legs, gets tonsillitis a fair bit but otherwise in good health.

Photos to show you what I mean. What could it be? Eczema in new location? Thanks!

My son get this at the start of spring & for the first time last year we found out it's name - this link has an almost identical picture to your one -

Thanks so much! I think it is this!

He also has lymph nodes in his neck that go up and down all the time the GP has told me not to worry about but which he was due to have blood tests at hospital for in March 2020 (that never happened as appointment cancelled as lock down happened).

He's an obligate mouth breather, snorer, seems to get hayfever and his tonsils are up and down as much as his glands in neck and back of head. He doesn't seem bothered unless his tonsils get infected, and the ear lumps are causing random scratching but he's barely noticed.

Thanks for replying
