12 year old - bloody in stool / tummy ache /soft stools

My son (12) goes through episodes of a funny tummy, smelly poos, smelly wind and cramps - but worryingly blood in his stools.

He had this a few years ago and had a stool sample and a blood test which revealed nothing.

He is going through it again abd it sound disgusting but the smell of the poo smells like it did a few years ago.

I've got a doctor phoning me later but whst withh other life stress I am behind panic mode.

Could it be IBS or something?

so he is having diorrea/ soft stools after eating .. easier to monitor now we are at home.

May go 3/4 times directly after eating

Still some bloody I think the frequency is making something bleed as seems to be fresh blood

He has had a stool sample sent off / blood test

Can't help but worry

As this has happened before, it needs checking out properly. Please ask your GP for referral to paediatrics.
