3 year old stomach pain and mucus poo

My 3 year old woke up in the night complaining that her bum hurt, I assumed she was maybe just sore, put a dry nappy on and she went back off to sleep. She woke this morning crying in pain with tummy ache and was writhing about for over an hour before she did a poo, it was a mix of solid, runny and lots of globs of mucus. She instantly felt better but this afternoon the same thing has happened again but this time just lots of mucus and hardly any poo.
Have spoken to the Dr and referred for stool a d blood test as I have Crohn’s disease but now I’m going out of my mind with worry that she’s going to have it too. I’ve looked online and can’t find many other reasons other that IBD as to why she’s in so much pain and passing so much mucus.
Was just wondering if anyone else had experienced similar and what the outcome was for you child?

Hi there, hope everything is ok now? Would you mind if I asked what the diagnosis was? My son has the same thing happening.
