My one year old with tight muscles and delayed motor skills

Hey,

I wanted to reach out for some advice! I’ve got a 14 month year old who was really tight muscles. She’s had an MRI which came back all clear which was the best news as we expected the worst. She’s been sitting up for about 3 months now but she can’t roll, crawl or walk. She’s great at tummy time and will spin round in circles and occasionally go backwards but never forwards.

She’s really happy, she’s starting to talk (she uses her tongue a lot when saying words) she will walk when we hold her hands but it’s really quick movements. We’ve been with the paediatricians for a few months now and they are really confused to what’s wrong.

Has anyone’s babies had similar problems?

We’re so confused!

Thanks xx

Ask paediatrician if they can refer and screen for metabolic disorders which can mimic cp
And would have clear mri
And some are treatable
