My 9 week old used to empty her bowels every 2-3 days pretty effortlessly. She's CMPA so my diet is pretty strict and I'm sure I haven't had anything that would trigger her. She had her 8 week vaccinations last Tuesday and hasn't emptied her bowels properly since. She's been straining a LOT and crying with tummy pain, and at most she will either release a bit of wind or what looks like "overflow" - just a tiny amount of stool coloured watery substance, not actual stool. She is barely sleeping because of the constant straining.
I came across a few posts in the past where people mentioned that this happened to their babies after the rotavirus vaccine? Anyone here had similar experiences and please could you tell me when normality resumed again? I know constipation is not a listed side effect of the vaccine, but from what I have read, it seems like a number of people have had similar experiences.
