My 4 year old has had one of these blister like spots on his foot for years, this morning he's woken up with a few of them on his foot and 2 on his leg, any idea what it is? It doesn't seem to be bothering him

Has he had chicken pox?

Saisong · 15/11/2020 10:58

Molloscum

Tamingofthehamster · 15/11/2020 10:58

Looks like molluscum

sofiessofa · 15/11/2020 11:00

Look like molluscum to me- harmless and will go eventually but may take up to a few years to clear completely.

Oneearringlost · 15/11/2020 11:02

Yep, Molluscum Contagiosum ( harmless).

Agree with PP - molluscum.

They're likely to stick around for a few months (or longer!) but then clear of their own accord.

Thanks everyone, yes he has had chicken pox before. I thought it was molluscum (ds1 had it on his neck as a baby) but wanted to check to put my mind at rest
